Rushden Town Partnership was formed in 2012 as an independently constituted body with the express aim of actively working to bring the business and the local community together towards a shared vision - to keep the town of Rushden vibrant for future generations.
To ensure the town of Rushden remains the beating heart of its growing community.
To achieve this, Rushden Town Partnership aims to:
~ work to instil a fuller sense of comunity and facilitate interchange fo goods and skills, culture and community support.
~ Reinforce Rushden's unique High Street character of independent shops.
~ Promote diversity and mix of town centre uses.
~ Build on the unique qualities and strong heritage of the town.
~ Market the town as an economic, social and cultural destination, attractive to new and existing residents alike, and tourists as part of the Destination Nene Valley
~ To provide a strong voice to lobby its local authority partners on appropriate issues to the benefit of its members and to cultivate tourism in the town
Rushden Town Partnership is also pledged to continue to work with Rushden Town Council and its support actions to carry out improvements and to cultivate tourism in the town, and with East Northaptoshire Council in developing Rushden as a growth town.
